Veiki from Nirvana Creations did my makeup for my engagement in the bay area back in 2007. It was the first time I had my makeup done professionally and she was wonderful! She made me feel comfortable, asked me what I liked along the way, and just made me feel like a princess.
Then I needed a local makeup artist in Chicago, where my wedding was being held. I had a terrible experience and did not like what I found. I wanted someone that understood the desi wedding look, without being too made up. I couldn’t believe how difficult this was!
So, I asked Veiki to do my makeup for my wedding in Chicago and both my receptions (Chicago and Bay Area) as well and I am so glad I did. She is so talented, passionate about her work, and an absolute sweet heart. Many people tend to call me stubborn, because I expect perfection when it comes to someone who specialize in art. To me, make-up is a form of art, and if one specializes in it, they should be really good at what they do. Right? I have had tons of experience with make-up artists, and sadly, not one has left me satisfied.
My first time experience with Nirvana Creations was with Veiki Sangha-Bains at the Vivah 2009 fashion expo. Veiki was one of the three Nirvana Creations make-up artists on set for the models’ make-up.
From the minute I sat down to get my make-up done, Veiki made the atmosphere very comfortable. She explained to me exactly what she was going to do for my make-up and made sure that she had my permission to continue on. If I didn’t like the idea she had in mind, she was more than happy to change my make-up to what I preferred. As Veiki did my make-up, she explained step by step as she applied the make-up to let me know exactly what was going on. It made me feel a lot more comfortable knowing what was being applied to my face. Periodically Veiki showed me how the process was turning out, and if I did not like the make-up, I could tell her, and she would fix it. With Veiki’s ideas and adding my own personal touch to my make-up, the whole process resulted in me being one big happy camper.
As a model, I have gone through hundreds of make-up artists for runway shows and portraits. But not once have I left satisfied with the way my make-up was done, until the Vivah 2009 wedding expo. Veiki did an amazing job at keeping me comfortable, allowing me to show her what I visualized, and adding her own personal touch to make my face look flawless. Not only was I satisfied, but I have never gotten so many compliments on the way my make-up was done.
For the first time I can say that Veiki has mastered the art of make-up. She knows how to make someone feel right at home as well as making them look flawless. I have never been so satisfied with a make-up group like Nirvana Creations, and I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to schedule an appointment with them.

Veiki is an outstanding Makeup Artist. She has done makeup on me on numerous occasions and has done a fabulous job! I love the way she transforms me. Nirvana creations has done an excellent job on everyone whom they have worked with. I just recently got married in October 2009.
